Daewon Cultural Foundation has developed diverse educat-
ion programs for classical musicians where they can exper-
ience a new education environment, enabling them to contr-
ibute to the development of music in Korea. As part of such efforts, the foundation has continued to expand its support for education. Since 2007, the Foundation has been patroni-
zing the Korean Conductors Association's Conductors' Aca-
demy that provides intensive education and practice progra-
ms by world-renowned conductors to uncover and train you-
ng promising conductors. Ultimately, it has been endeavor-
ing to encourage a solid development of Korean conductors.
