Daewon Cultural Foundation has been actively patronizing v-
arious classical music events which have recently been held in Korea. Such events include several significant classical music concerts: The 2nd Seoul Spring Festival of Chamber Music, Boystown Symphony Orchestra’s fundraising concert, KBS Symphony Orchestra’s Japan Tour, Kun Woo Paik’s “Beethoven Piano Sonata Cycle in 7 days”, and Soprano Yo-
ung-Mi Kim’s “The 30 years of Opera & Bel Canto”. The foundation has supported outstanding Korean musicians a-
nd music organizations in pursuit of broadening the horizon-
s on classical music in Korea, thereby contributing to the d-
evelopment of the diverse fields of Korea’s classical music. |
