Daewon Cultural Foundation has generously donated scho-
larship funds for the improvement of the educational enviro-
nment and for academic development in order to create a s-
olid environment for nurturing promising music talents into world-class musicians. The School of Music at Korean Nati-
onal University of Arts, which is devoted to training brilliant cl-
assical music talents, was the grantee in 2005. The College of Music at Seoul National University, known for its great co-
ntribution to the development of Korea's classical music ed-
ucation, was the grantee in 2006.
